I’m Andrew, the founder of Tolupe, a small store born out of a love for simple yet expressive metal wall signs.

I’ve always had a thing for curating my living space. One thing I noticed early on is that sometimes, all it takes is a single metal sign. The right phrase at the right time, or the right image with the right mood, can completely transform a room. It doesn’t have to be big or expensive. It just has to speak to who you are.

At first, I made signs just to decorate my small apartment here in Toronto. Friends who came over started asking to buy them, or asked if I could make something custom for them too. One request led to another, and each one came with its own story and message. I found that I really loved the process.

What started as a hobby slowly grew into something more, and eventually I decided to turn it into a real business. That’s how Tolupe came to life. The name itself doesn’t carry a specific meaning. It was simply a combination of letters I liked. It felt light and open, which matched the spirit I wanted the brand to have.

At Tolupe, we focus on metal wall signs. These are handcrafted pieces made with durable materials and thoughtful, original designs. We don’t follow trends. Instead, we create with intention, whether it’s a phrase that inspires, a vintage-style graphic, or something that makes you pause for a moment and smile.

All our designs are created here in Canada, and we work with trusted manufacturing partners to ensure the quality of every piece. Each sign is carefully packed and shipped with the hope that it brings something meaningful to your home, workspace, or wherever you choose to place it.
